The Finlay Foundation
Unfortunately we were not the winners of The Finlay Foundation £2000 fund this May. However….Thank you to everyone who did vote for us and for sharing our story and theirs! We were looking to purchase a childrens beach / all terrain wheel chair with the funds if we were successful. We are pleased to announce that since then we have been able to locate a second hand beach chair (and purchase it with a private donation given specifically for it.) and also have received a £50 cheque from the Finlay foundation today as a runner up! This donation will enable us to do up the chair and get it ready for our trip to Avon Tyrrell in August! 
It is not an all singing all dancing chair like we were looking at but it will come in useful on our trips! Thank you to everyone for your support
